COVID-19 Update
March 22nd, 2020 | by Kim Brune | Posted in Uncategorized
To our JECH family and friends:
Today our local government(s) implemented a “Stay at Home Order”.
Due to the nature of our business (providing homes for families), we are deemed “essential” and allowed to continue to work.
It is in our neighbor’s (those living near or even next door to our projects) best interest that our projects remain “active”. This will help to prevent the potential for transient traffic and will minimize the ability for those children at home due to school closures to see our projects as a playground.
For the safety of our employees, trades and customers, we will adhere to the “6’ rule” of social distancing on all projects as well as the other precautions suggested. All meetings will be virtual via Facetime, Zoom or similar. Should a “in person” meeting be necessary, the precautions previously mentioned will be strictly adhered to.
We are fortunate in that we have had a “virtual” office since our company’s inception, so our employees are used to working from home. Something that proves to be invaluable in a time like this as it allows us to continue to employ good, hard working people so that they can take care of their families.
We will update everyone should any of this information change.
Respectfully,
James Engle Custom Homes
